2nd International Conference on Construction and Building Research

The 2nd International Conference on Construction and Building Research is organized by the School of Building Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

 School of Building Engineering in Spain. Its main objective is to respond to the growing demand for research, development and innovation in the building sector. The field of knowledge associated with the building sector is quite complex, and therefore its research must show an interdisciplinary approach. This can only be effectively developed from a strong interaction between a large variety of scientific and technological domains with more conventional construction or craft processes, and also considering advanced management processes, where all the main actors permanently interact. 

Main fields will be Materials and construction systems, Building Technology, Energy and Sustainability, Heritage, rehabilitation and maintenance and Building Construction Management.

PhD STUDENT AWARD
The Organization Committee will present its award for the best paper authored and delivered by a PhD 
student. The prize will consist of 1.000 €. Papers  to be considered must first be submitted to and accepted by the Scientific Committee.

Important dates
June 1, 2012: Deadline for the pre-registration

July 1, 2012: Deadline for the submission of the full paper
September 7, 2012: Deadline for the acceptance/rejection notification
October 1, 2012: Deadline for registration
