PhD scholarships at the University of Copenhagen

The University of Copenhagen offers PhD scholarships within the departments of Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology at Copenhagen Graduate School of Social Sciences. Employment is to begin on 1 February 2014. The Faculty welcomes applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of age, gender, race, religion, ethnic background and citizenship. Scholarships are offered for the 5+3 and the 4+4 PhD study programmes. 

Study Subject(s): Scholarships are provided within the departments of Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology at Copenhagen Graduate School of Social Sciences.

What does it cover?  5+3 PhD study programme: PhD students are paid a salary in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). 4+4 PhD study programme: The PhD student will be paid two grant portions per month plus salary for work (teaching, presentations etc.) which totals a workload of at least 280 hours. Payment and conditions of employment are carried out in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). Upon completion of the master´s degree programme the student is transferred to a salary-earning PhD scholarship.


The application deadline is 1 November 2013.
