Chevening Scholarships for postgraduate students in UK

Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and HSBC offer HSBC Chevening Scholarships for postgraduate students in UK. Scholars are able to study for up to 12 months in the UK at postgraduate level. Courses can be at any UK university and in any field, although the bias is towards finance- or environmental-related courses. Local HSBC representatives work closely with British Embassy or High Commission staff to interview and select high quality Scholars that meet HSBC and Chevening criteria. The closing date for receiving applications varies for each country, but the earliest closing date is 1 November 2013.

The students of Argentina, Armenia, Brazil, Chile, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Russia, South Africa, and Turkey can apply for these scholarships.
