Description: This event, jointly organised by Europa Nostra and its
Portuguese member organisation Centro Nacional de Cultura, will bring together
many of our members and other European heritage professionals and volunteers,
as well as proud laureates of the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Awards.
The public highlight of the Congress - the European
Heritage Awards Ceremony - will be held on 1 June at the UNESCO World Heritage
site, the Jerónimos Monastery.
On the morning of 1 June an important Forum on “Saving
Europe’s Endangered Heritage” will be organised at the premises of the Calouste
Gulbenkian Foundation. As usual, the forum will be open to the interested
public.
